ohscience: for escute — you can get an idea of how small the flakes are from the knitted wool, and you can see that yes, the patterns are sometimes visible.  OMG this is awesome.  It’s in answer to a follower of ohscience who had never seen snow in real life and was curious as to how big snowflakes really are, whether it’s possible to see any details of the pattern. If you’re not following ohscience, I would highly recommend you to do so.  Excellent stuff.
